But he then struggled badly in 2022 with a 6.35 ERA before more injury troubles largely wiped out his 2023. Hernndez seemed to be back in decent form with OKC earlier and hell have to decide whether he wants to return to that environment or pursue opportunities elsewhere. The fact that he went unclaimed on waivers suggests that no club was willing to give him a roster spot, but perhaps a minor league deal with a team that has a weaker pitching staff than the Dodgers could increase his chances of getting back to the majors.
